Membership

The Association of Science Museum Directors (ASMD) is a membership organization of natural history and science museums, represented by their directors. Membership in ASMD shall be open to all science museums, science centers, science and technology centers, zoological parks, aquariums, botanical gardens, and other organizations that have significant collections, exhibitions, or educational programs relating to the physical or natural sciences, technology, or anthropology, and that devote the significant part of their budget to collections, research, or educational programs in the sciences.

The annual membership fee is $100 per institution with an operating budget of less than $1 million and $200 per institution with an operating budget of more than $1 million.
